Stan Deming is the President of Statistical Designs.

Stan was born in Corpus Christi, TX, while his father was there in the Navy during World War II ("it was a convenient place to be born"). His family is from Montana and South Dakota. He attended Carleton College and Purdue University.

The photo is from a backpacking trip at Pedernales Falls State Park in Central Texas.
